The announcement text: Our client (professional services body) based in the West End are currently looking to recruit a events*conference administrator on a contract basis (approx 9 months). The role is extremely varied & busy and will require someone with exceptional organisational and inter-personal skills combined with the ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines.
The duties include: booking all external venues, arranging conferences, booking applicants onto the appropriate event, attending events to register delegates, arranging hotel accomodation, liaising with clients, producing application forms; tickets and summary booklets, evaluating the effectiveness of each event, preparing all invoices and claims for expenses and fees etc.
The successful candidate must have at least two years previous experience within conference*events, high level of educational achievement combined with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
